1971 Wiper Motor

My wiper motor is shot.....in several different ways. Broken cover screws. Stripped gear, etc. Looking at the aftermarket replacements, the shaft that connects to the wiper linkage appears different than my splined shaft. Theirs appears to be a bolt on affair. Mine is splined with a clamp type connection to the linkage.

Anyone use the Omix motor. Besides looking different than mine, it's Omix. Skeptical of the quality. Crown and Summit sell what appears to be the same part.

 

Found some better pics of the replacement wiper motors. Looks like the new style tab that connects to the wiper linkage is held in place with a nut and so, the old tab will have to come off of the linkage and new one fits in its place. I guess I'll "add to cart" and see if it fits and maybe how long it lasts.
