76 Disc Brake Swap

I have a 1976 CJ5 with the 11" drums. It stops pretty well, but a recent trip to the beach reminded me how horrible drums are when they get wet.

I have knuckles, hubs, and spindles from a 79 disc brake axle. I did not get the stub axles because one of them was mangled from a broken u-joint. It was somewhat muddled, but I seem to recall having read I can use my existing axles with the disc brake setup if I used my drum brake hubs instead of the newer version. Is this correct?

Is this the best way to go, or is something like the Brennan Garage Suzuki swap a better idea?
