So I got myself into a little bit of a situation.

my factory, adapter plate, and the new factory adapter plate I picked up don’t exactly match…. I can’t seem to find a gasket for the one that I need to use.

I happen to have a random seal in my toolbox, but I also can’t find the right part number for the correct seal.

anybody can make heads or tail of us and teach me something…

it’s going to a scout 300. So I have looked down the scout rabbit hole too

Looks like Jeep T98-A adapter vs Jeep T18 adapter.
I’ll see if I can dig up part numbers but from what I recall the Crown gasket and seal sets have multiple gaskets included

They do, but most of them are different Texas style gaskets, I haven’t seen a different transmission housing one

    After sleeping on it…

I may just salvage my old adapter and JB weld or weld up the hole.

does anybody have info on the seal that I can’t seem to track down…

The T18 front maindrive seal is CR 12363.
The T18 rear mainshaft seal is National 450308.

You can always cut your own gasket.
Cut the outside using the original pattern.
Lay the gasket over the adapter.
With a ball peen hammer, tap around the inner edge of transfer area and all the holes. The edges of the adapter will cut the gasket giving you a duplicate.
