Are you going to paint it at the house or send it out for paint?

Crap I sent you the wrong one. That cleaned up nice and I see you filled in the 4 extra holes that was in it . Post a picture after it’s painted and with the white stenciled 4 wheel drive logo in the lower right corner.

My Buddy up North owns the Bodyshop in Atlanta MI. He is going to paint my 64 Tux hood and my new Old tailgate for me, he bought my Snowmobile so he will get some of his money back.
I am putting the original 64 hood on it with the snorkel port in it, and the holes for the Tuxedo Park badges, I have a 66 hood on it now, no snorkel port. Rick

Jeep peep, I have to drill new holes for the Tux license plate bracket. Rick. Thanks again for the beautiful new old tailgate to work with, I stripped it with paint striper. They wanted $100.00 to strip it at International Stripping, was like $30.00 in 2007 when I had my other one done.

Two holes go in the raised panel, and two holes below the raised panel, with spacers used on the lower holes originally for the Tux . The Tuxes didn’t have the Willys stamping (a blank raised panel), so your going to have to improvise, maybe mount the bracket below the Willys embossing?

The tailgate I have on it is a 71, it has Jeep on it, the license plate holder fits between the letters on it. I made a template of the holes and the bracket will fit without drilling any Willys letters. I brazed a tube up the inside of the tailgate to put the wire through for the license plate light wires will come out above the letters. It should all work out without drilling any letters, Donny. Thanks for the information again. I want to keep the Tuxedo Park Theam even though it is a Black, I love Black Cars.
