T Slot Pistons

    i just bought new piston, no T slots , no notch, no front arrow on pistons
    can no find any direction arrows .
    i going to put them in , hope for the best
    any positive info?

    It would be a good idea to call the manufacturer or point of purchase.

    What engine? Where did you purchase the pistons?

    I would not just "put them in, hope for the best" that is a recipe for disaster.

    Bought from peter debella, ask him about this and ask me to check the manual, i have only seen t slot pistons in all my manuals before. The brand is sivlo coated

    Never heard of "Sivlo Coated" pistons, but Peter usually stocks quality parts. I would call him back and tell him you did check the manual and what you see in the manual is not what you see on the pistons.

    I always buy "Silvolite" pistons which do have a notch, and the slot. Probably one of the best brands of pistons available for these engines today. CMV has them for a good price, and also has Hastings rings.

    Yes, but if they are indeed Silvolite pistons they should have had the notches, and slots....

    Those are "Rebuilders Choice" brand pistons, not "Silvolite" as you thought.

    I have never used them, but have heard they are good quality pistons. You can call them with your questions 1-800-768-3646

    I called rebuilders choice
    No t slots in there pistons
    And no front arrow direction
    Can go in any direction , they say its fine
