225 Odd Fire Cylinder Heads Smog Vs No Smog (any Difference?)

    Swapping out cylinder heads for 69 225 Oddfire and B&J has two but one is smogged and other is not. Any difference in the two? Want to trade mine out as I'm limited on time and living in Mexico, where machining and language is always questionable.

    Advice is greatly appreciated as per the usual. Salud

    I have smog heads on my '71. Although the injections ports are blocked off by small plugs, there is a boss in the head above the exhaust port. You can tell them apart from the outside this way.
    I don't know of any internal differences, however. Maybe somebody with more experience can add to this.

    Seen both - not really aware of any difference in flow or anything once the smog ports are blocked off. Could be a bit of turbulence, but I doubt its enough to notice at the RPMs we run.
