    I've thought about it on the rear axle, I don't really like the thought of it cracking over time. Some climates will be better for it than others but i don't see it any different than a flexible line failing over time. I don't know if mud or snow will pack in them or not.

    My BobCat SXS has them on bot ends. No problem, amigo. My CJ6 will get them too when I get to the axle stage of the resurrection. And then my 4X4 Chevy van. Oh, and the FC170. Probably attach them to the upper end of the breather hose just to keep them out of harm's way.

    I used one of those on my power steering for venting the "catch can". I decided not to use them on the axles/transfercase because you are probably still putting a couple psi in the system and thought the seals would be happier at zero PSI. And I would never mount one directly to the axle like that. At least not if your trail rides are anywhere other than the mall. I think you can get just the "bellows" from Summit for about half that price.
