I took my battery tray out to clean it up (i.e. remove rust and paint it). I never bothered to take a picture of the tray assembled before I took it out. Now for the life of me I can't figure out how the two support brackets connect to the factory tray. One bracket I believe goes under the tray and connects to a bolt in the firewall. The other bracket......no clue. Hoping somebody with the factory battery tray might be able to post a few pics of it assembled, or provide guidance as to how the two support brackets connect the tray to the body. Thanks in advance!!

No daylight here. I can snap a picture in the morning. There may be pictures online already if you search.

Note that the '76-up tray that's available from the aftermarket is a good replacement for the original. That's what I have in mine. One additional hole to drill as I recall, and clamps the bottom of the battery rather than using the frame over the top.

There is a stud on the bottom of the tray. The longer support goes from that to the firewall. The other support goes from the left-most outer-most hole to the firewall.

Went to take a picture. No good angle to see it from, but it's as I describe above.
