Plasma cutting aluminum?

    Is there a trick to plasma cutting aluminum cleanly, or is ugly cuts the nature of the beast? Is it a setting or rate-of-cut thing?
    I had so-so results with thin aluminum, but the 1/4" stuff left an oogy cut line....I could have done better with my bandsaw.

    jeepngem did ok on vanguards bellhousing
    seems it was noiser and messier
    agreed, it was not as clean as steel though
