Here We Go Again…..

    Will be installing the replacement rod in the carb for altitude, 1.5 leaner custom made by The Carburetor Shop, next time I get to the cabin. Gonna start with a fresh set of plugs so I can check things with the change. So now to remember the issues. I have to Pertronics and remember I had to go back to normal plug cables. So do I get resistor plugs or not? Don’t remember now. What are the thoughts today with regard to brand? AutoLite I believe was the original. Thoughts?

    "Regular plug wires" being resistor wires? Most are. Anything but resistor wires will make terrible radio noise. I would go resistor plugs too - they are pretty much used on everything except maybe lawnmowers. IMO use whatever is available that's a match. Lots of good brands. I would go Champion because the plating is good and the black plugs rust.
