If I was in the market... and I am not... I'd be hard pressed to go to $500. Probably more like $250.
Just not much on that rig I'd want.
That's for this area, your area may be different. There are LOTS of $500 Jeeps around here. Some are pretty decent, just need someone who is willing to spend time on some repairs.

It's left hand drive. My understanding is that there were left hand drive DJ's for delivery and as airport tugs.

I had planned on painting it OD green but I wasn't going to do that untill every panel was stripped and re-primed. I just don't have the time to invest in a project that I won't use often enough for it to be a good money decision. Oh well, that's life.

The last one I bought I paid 25.00 for.

I promised myself I'd not buy another.

    That said, valuable parts are:
    fenders
    four lug wheels
dual brake m/c bracket, pedal, etc
steering system if it is LHD
    emergency brake handle

    That's about it.

The engine is a 153 Chevy I4... an uncommon engine that's a good swap for a flatty.

Frame is interesting - I wonder if the outboard rear springs with the post mounts are the same as a Commando (no, on closer look, they're different - post mount F&R).

It'll be hard to sell it as a package with it disassembled. Uncompleted projects are notorious for selling at low, low prices.

If you're worried about a price to post, pick a high price OBO (or best offer).
