Insurance totaled it out.

Looks like we might get a selectable locker(s) and gears for the 3b.

 

And a 5.3LS!

 

As much time, effort, and money as I have invested in the Fhead, I just couldn't replace it at this point in time.

I have a fresh 5.3 waiting for a new home.

I'm not sure those will work in the "normal" D44's and while the New Gen rear is a reasonably stout axle, the same can not be said for the 2.5" tubed front D44. It will be interesting to see what you find out about interchangeability of parts in the HP 44's.

 

Oh, I was referring to the 14b selectable locker.

Great news. I made some money off the JK. Buyback is just under $3600.
It's bittersweet really because I had some great adventures in the JK but upkeep on it to be a daily was too much.

 

Yep that's how I felt with the JK rental looking at it's odometer and all the work it needed to be a daily. There is a lot to be said about a Honda civic and cost of ownership.
