F134 Starter Switch

    24 volts might burn out a test light but I'm game.

    Not if you put two in series.

    But a small light could illuminate without proving the circuit can carry enough current for the starter.

    You have 24 volt bulbs in the lights on the Jeep don't you? Rig up something, anything. Something to at least establish whether or not any current flows through the switch.

    Took it apart again and thoroughly cleaned the contacts. They didn't look bad but it worked. Got it running 9nly to find both oil lines leaking at the connections so I need to replace both of them. I'll have to remove the fuel pump to get to the one going into the block. Maybe the fan belts to get to the one going into the timing cover.

    The silver lining is at least I have oil pressure.
