Rebuilder Recommendation On So Cal

Hello all. Having worked out my electrical gremlins with your help, and steering, I am now onto transmission, transfer case, and over drive - which more than “drips” in the garage.

While I would love to (and have watched damned near every video and read as much as I can about it) I am not set up to undertake the rebuild myself, nor do I really have the time- it’ll take me a good year, and I’d like it done sooner. That being said, I’m looking for some recommendations/ advice- can a general mechanic do this work, or should I split is all up and send it out to specialists - and do you know of anyone around town - LA area.

The configuration is an sm420 to a dana18 by way of advanced adapter, with warn OD. I’m taking this time to replace the clutch and parts as well, but I’m trying to get this done relatively quickly (quicker that I could do it), ideally locally, and just once- if I opened this thing I’m certain to get every wrong part and have to reorder a second round! Which I don’t want to do.
