    WE GOT IT!!!!!!!!

Folks, the sumbich runs LIKE A F-ING CHAMP!!!!!

OOOOOHHHH MAN! So, I got everything reassembeld, after a lot of grinding, took a plastic-file and took some off the cap at the screw holder thing, that had a bit of removal. It took about 15 in-and-outs, like the Amazon review #1 said. But then it slipped in with enough clearance to rotate about 1/2". Took 3 times with the Walmapart starting fluid - coughed on every try, so I knew I had things sort of in the right place. The third she went and ran at about 1200, because that's where I had to have it otherwise she'd die at stop signs.

I rotated it, only got 1 shock - the posts on the cap are a bit different than the 8.8mm ACCELL or whatever plug wire set I got, they are the yellow and red ones and you have to CUT THEM YOURSELF AND CRIMP THEM AND THE F-ERS LOVE TO COME APART, musta rebuilt them a hunnerd times too. Even using dialectric grease them f-ers come right apart I think the spark plug attachers are too tight, so I put a needle-nose in there and ran in outwards to strech 'em out a bit. I didn't change out the gear, mine was a little sharp on the original, I kept it just in case. But I had to tighten them on the cap, and the boot don't cover the shocks so watch the f out. Wasn't bad, just only 1 time is good tho.

So them I got her down around 750 or so, low-idle, it just purrs. Lost all that "wet" sound with the coughing and backfiring and just struggling to run. Them f-ing offset caps. I'd like to kick someones *** for that. Maybe 3 summers now of being afraid to take it farther than I can walk. I didn't even touch the carb needles, I think they are both at around 1.25 turns out.

I want to go driving sooooooo F-ING BAD, but it's like 100 degrees with a dewpoint in the 70s and it's just too hot to go.

I could not have done this without this sub. Really, thank you all for all your contributions! YAAAAYYYY! :)
