Ok. So Ayden and I are headed to Alberta next week to work on the '67. New harness is in the future. For now just going to wire enough to run and move it. It has the generator. Can someone please provide us with the basic wire diagram to do this. Thanks.

If you're just running it around the yard don't worry about the genny. This is all you really need, yellow clip lead for the ignition, blue to start.

Why not bump start it? Then you only need one wire.

Unless you need to charge the battery from the running engine, leave both the generator and regulator "wire free".

For whatever reason, whenever I connect the blue wire in the diagram...and the starter clunks and the engines beings to spin....I always jump, even though I want the clunk and spinning engine.

The spark plug wires need to be connected, as does the small wire going between the coil and the distributor. Please don't ask why I mention this! :)
