Did I Mention That I Bought Another 6

After its 4th of July wash and vacuum . Also went and bought new Rotella oil, filter, hoses, belts and plugs and air cleaner. Washed the engine down a little better than it was, so I don't get to dirty working on it. Has a newer carb on it (pictures later) not sure who makes it yet. Runs good and the engine compartment looks pretty un molested to me, but I'm not use to intermediates yet. Oh, and yes, I installed a duster from one of my YJ's that was hanging on. I ordered a full tiger top and I think I have a bikini hanging around somewhere. So for now, it will be bikini and duster.

 

New 31/1050-15 KM3's. On old D slot Renengade rims. Next is swing tire carrier and soft top.



Ran it for a 40 mile round tripper for ice cream tonight. No runs, no drips, no errors. Lots of rattling though. Think my tub bolts are loose and exhaust.

 

Looking better already.

 

Anyone know the correct diameter steering wheel for this one ? Have to get rid of that go-cart wheel.

 

74 should still be the "bus" wheel like an early CJ.

 

I am not absolutely sure but I think I the factory wheel is about 17 in. I can measure mine next week when I get over to the shop if no one else chimes in.

Unless the original column has been modified, this is correct.

Mocha Brown Metallic, when I got it someone had previously buffed it out to primer and then clear coated it. Well at least that's what it appears to have been done. I don't think it was natural patina. I thinks its pretty cool!
