I really want to run the 63' to its origins, it has the old school F4/BW98?/and the dana 18? tcase. What dilema I have is I want to run 35's on a springover, some light duty wheeling while in the long run getting it as factory as possible. Is there an easy v6 swap that will mate to the trannie? While still keeping it in era and limiting the amount of wiring and other crap Ill need to run to make it run....?

Edit: The reason I want to keep the rest of the drivetrain and axles is with the axles in it I beleive there 5.13 gears or higher (not confirmed but rough using chaulk and the tire/drivline rotations)

    I believe he said 98. :D

Sounds to me like 34x9.50s would be ideal for light wheeling. :D

if it were me I would probably borrow some 33s and give it a little lift, 2.5" or so
then go play with it and see how she does
you would be very surprised what it will do
    but, that's my opinion !

    What Jim said.

SOA usually creates more problems than it solves. But, if you know what you're doin' that's another story. ;)
