Hello!! Trying to help my dad by posting on here, does anyone have any experience or know how to change power steering lines on the power steering gear on a 1975 CJ5? Do we have to take out the entire gear to do it? Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

If you have new lines, cut the old ones above the nut and spin them out. Ron.

Make sure to use flare nut wrenches

It’s tight under the crossmember but yes, very doable without removing the gear. You could remove 2 bolts and loosen the 3rd bolt to the mount to gain some more room.
