    yep
    more of them out there than you think
    in laws had a boat with a V6 in it
    sold the manual on ebay myself a couple years ago

    They are not any different from the Dauntless that was put into Jeeps except the starter and alternator. The starters and alternators have a screen that keeps the sparks from igniting the fuems in the engine compartment.

    Are The Screens Viable On The Motor Or Are They Internal. Are The Casting Numbers In The Same Place

    No difference in casting numbers that I know of.

    My Dauntless documentation says: "225 Buick Odd fire by Chris Craft"
    As far as I can tell it is the original factory motor.

    Can't see why it would. A marine engine has only a few differences. Sealed starter, distributor and alternator. The carb has a flame arrester on it. All those things have been changed on mine except perhaps the starter. It is so gunky I can't tell yet!!
