Mechanical Fuel Pump Issues

Morgan Three wheels came with different motors in them, some had a V Twin motorcycle motor in them, some had an English Ford Tractor motor in them. They had an 8 HP or a 10 HP motor Tractor motor in them, the one I worked on had a 10 HP motor in it, but when it got re done they put the smaller motor in it, I had a box full of parts to sort out and make it run right. It was strange to drive it, drives on the right and everything was backwards. The Ford motor was a small four cylinder flat head like a Model A, but a lot smaller.

 

New carter pump arrived yesterday and installed it, wow, what a difference, I think the pump that was in it was getting weak, I did not have to crank it as long to get fuel to the filter and to the carb. The spring in the old one was pretty weak compared to to the new one.
