    I need a part number for a 1970 V6/TH400 in a 1970 Jeepster. Should be the same as a CJ5 with same engine/transmission.

    Thanks,
    John

    Hi John...

Not sure on the #, but you're after a Jeepster-specific item there as the CJ5 never came with the TH400. Not enough wheelbase....

Sorry for the mis-info. I found a Balkamp no (6005005 via NAPA) for a 1975 Buick through NAPA but am not sure. Should be the same as long as they are both odd-fire????

Napa sez they have to go to Denver and it will be 5-7 days and I will have to pay $75.00 plus freight. Since it is that long I am going to wait until Monday when the first string gets in.

Silly question, if hot rod shops make custom ones, can they repair/rebuild mine???

    What's wrong with it?

You can have a 231 EF balanced to your crankshaft (if it's not in the block I think).

Its cracked and makes it sound like some one with a hammer banging on the tranny.

Thanks! Daaah... You have to do the crank and flex together and that would mean doing the engine..... Sorry my mouth was way ahead of my brain. AGAIN.... Car-parts.com has nothing nor do any of the other autoparts here.

I've never done it hence the disclaimer. I just have read it can be done. ;)
