Is There A Magnetic Drain Plug That Fits The Dauntless?

    Well, I ordered the 7/8"-18 magnetic drain plug, since that's what Rock Auto shows as the thread size - but it turns out they are wrong about that.

    I went to change my oil and put in the new plug today, but it's way too large. I checked the thread size, and the original Dauntless drain plug is actually 1/2"-20.

    So I'll order one of these from PowerSlut Racing: Magnetic Drain Plug - Thread Size 1/2" x 20 w/ Dog Point, along with some extra washers, and just to wait to refill the oil until it comes in.

    Hopefully the 7/8"-18 plug will fit my '42 GPW....
