I found that when trying to remove the shocks i could not as they would hit the exhaust. So then as i looked to remove the exhaust mounts so i could move the pipes to remove the shocks. I noticed that the mounts have some sort of rubber bushings. Additionally one of the brackets where lagged into the frame and not bolted. Funny PO.

Anyone have ideas on bushing to get so i can reinstall? I assume this is jerry rigged and not a stock type of thing.

    Thanks

I have the same on my Jeep.
    Walk into any muffler shop.
    They all use them.

Mine looked very similar. They were rotted out and I replaced them with some old shock absorber bushings I had laying around.

Well that’s a great idea since I’m replacing the shocks now. A little ragged so may need to find newer ones.

Go to a auto part store, go to the exhaust isle. They make a bracket that has a rubber strap and a clip one one end. Bolt the strap to the frame and use a muffler clamp to attach the clip to the pipe.
