Frame serial numbers

    Just did a search on frame ID numbers. I just want to confirm that the frame should be stamped inside, front, passenger. Has anybody else found a diferent location? Steel brush in hand here I go to find some numbers.

    If you have the tub off it is also stamped on top of the frame, pass side, directly over the rear axle tube as you are looking down.
    The front is basically straight down from the battery tray, if firewall mounted that is.

    I have the numbers in front, as described, and I just cleaned up and painted my frame in back and did not find any other locations.

    Found mine on top of the passenger side frame rail, just in front of the firewall, and above the rear diff tube.
