I am not enough specialist to help. Shock absorbers seem worn, check with a pro. When I changed mine it was really better but they provided the cheap ones, I believe with top ones my Jeep would be softer.
Concerning seats, I add good a good cushion for the passenger.
Maybe you could meet a forum expert in your area, it could be useful.
I do not hesitate to spend money to have my Jeep in good condition, it is for years and gives value.
But of course it must be controlled!

Jeep, the only true American sports car!...I forget who said that?...some guy from Italy.!?

When they invented the jeep they didn't care about comfort just winning a war!

My first seats were original frames with plywood bottoms and boat cushions as seats, uncovered seat backs...just kept my seat belts tight!!! That was when I was young and stupid...now I'm not so young!

I now use Corbeau suspension seats...I like them!

They (jeep) used buckboard suspension until they went to coil springs (for the ladies...I think??? But don't tell them that! How time marches on!!!) Anyway, what kind of ride do you expect??? When I had my first rides in a jeep it was...uh...back in the 50's and at that time what did I know...this was a jeep!!!

Do more research before starting...its a pretty straight forward job, but takes a lot of forethought
