which way does the driven plate go on ?..... I forgot in the past week how it came off

It is a Luk. On one side the center with springs is raised from the level of the disk. On the other side it is recessed a bit. My guess is the recessed side goes toward the flywheel so they can be flush?

It should indicate on there somewhere. Did it come with instructions/pics? If not, you're "outta Luk". :D

should be able to tell by holding it up there... i think the raised center side goes toward the transmission, but it only fit one way when i did mine.

The raised portion goes toward the transmission. If you put it up to the flywheel backwards the springs will hit the flywheel bolts.

Thanks, I figured it out after Hippo's reply. The new one wasn't marked but the old one had writing that indicated the correct direction. I got it installed tonight. Now I just need to get my tranny rebuild parts and i'll be good to go.
