Stocking up on parts and the front axle is next on the rebuild list. What size reamers do I need for the knuckles to flip the tie rods on a Dana27? Also what size tubing do I need to get for my new tie rods using 1Ton ends should I tap them or use the weld in bungs.

I'm not sure if 27 knuckles have enough meat for 1 ton TREs, the standard TREs should be fine for a 27, 11/16x18 thread. I used 1"OD DOM .188 wall, 5/8 or .625 ID. I have the taps of you want to borrow them.

Cross referenced the part numbers for the TRE I have 2 left and 2 right for a Jeep. And 1 left and 1 right for a gm 2500 series. I will take you up on your offer Kyle I’ll let you know when I’m ready to do it

Just cut the tube to the length and I’ll thread it on the lathe, or you welcome to take the taps and diy.
