Looking For A Valve Cover Grommet

    I want to get rid of the old leaky hose attaching my air filter assembly to the valve cover. The hole in the valve cover is 1". Does anyone have a part number or application for an oil resistant grommet that would fit that hole?

    If I can find a grommet I can make a filter assembly to fit it.

    This is for my '73 w. 232 and stock valve cover.

    P/N 3190565 is the hose/grommet assembly replacement part.
    Available from many.

    Thanks. I want to do away with the hose entirely, I hate that the air cleaner is attached to the valve cover when I want to work on the carburetor.

    Maybe if I reworked how the hose attaches to the air cleaner, make it easier to disconnect when I want to remove the air cleaner.
