I’ve been trying to determine what I need to do to get my 67 CJ5 back to its original height. I may be wrong, but I don’t believe that these body mounts are stock. I’ve seen where these square pads were used, but not stacked in this manner. Is this stock? Should there only be one rubber pad or would these have been more traditional round mounts? When measured these are about 1.5” in total. Thanks all!

Actually the round rubber pucks are a newer development, and these pieces of tire are original. These have been replaced, since the originals were punched out of tire sidewall, not nearly so uniform and more like 1/4"-5/16"-ish. Stacked like this is some PO mod ... should be just one as I recall.

Yes, there should just be a single pad at each point and on the '67 they would be rectangular originally. Looks like somebody bought lots of the stock pads (or cut up some tire) to use as a home-made body lift kit.
If you take yours out and find they aren't pliable then you want to replace them with new ones.
