    Wheel Cylinders?

Rebuliding the wheel cylinders is $4.85 for the kit and buying the wheel cylinders are $16.00 each. I have two that are leaking so I am going to rebulid or replace all four.

Are the kits used for rebuliding the wheel cylinders dependable?

Just replace them. It is no longer cost effective to rebuild. It's less worry. My .02

    Another Wheel Cylinder ?

What size are the wheel cyliders for a 1964 CJ5 with 9" brakes?

    3/4" or 1"??

Important info when trying to find kits for rebuliding.

They usually leak because the bores are pitted and have trashed the seals in the process. Replace 'em, unless of course you like playing in brake fluid.

I tried the rebuild thing but it's just not worth messing around with it. Just replace 'em. Especially if you have the single circuit master cylinder.

I’m not sure whether there ¾ or 1” for a 64 9” brake, but I would believe ¾. Where are you buying the wheel cylinders for $16?
