no power

    i have the dauntless v6 and i changed the valve cover gaskets today. well i got everything put back together go to start it and nothing...no power.... no lights.... no nothing.....so i back-tracked, i noticed taking the passenger side cover off theres a ground wire goin from valve cover to the firewall......could this be the problem????? is it not making a good ground????? just wondering....... HELP!!!!!

    check the fuseable link. mine grounded when i went to start after the rebuild. also check the battery cables, might be loose.

    The cable you speak of is a body ground. Check and clean the connections on both ends of your battery cables. Something is probably just loose or dirty

    Sure sounds like a bad ground.Clean all connections, run another separate ground if needed,just to make sure.Good luck
