I picked this jeep up for free with a title about 10 years ago. After sitting in pieces in the garage, I finally started putting the jeep together. My 13 yr old granddaughter has helped a little. I wanted her to understand a little about how a vehicle works. If she helps all the way through, it can be hers when she is older.

I straightened the frame a little welded metal where it was shot. A truck body shop traded work. He sand blasted the frame and painted with a 2 part epoxy similar to Imron specs. I ended up making the steering box bracket. It has BDS 2.5" lift. Finally rolled it out of the garage Saturday.

Next is to paint the engine and trans. I am going to try and weld threads on the shifter handle . It broke when I was removing the ball. I'm thinking about welding a flat color similar to what you see on the tub under the windshield. Keeping the stock wheels and painting them the 2 part epoxy black.

I need some needle bearings for the warn lockout hubs. The tub needs a lot of welding.
