    I have the stock intake but was told that the Holley may not need an adapter? And I just want to replace the Rochester 2 g to something new that might work better. 2 bl is fine for me.

    Holley flange guide. Carburetor Flange Guide
    I think Ive seen an adapter somewhere that will adapt a MC2100 down to a 2G....
    I may be wrong, but the 2G small and large bore are both smaller than the MC2100/Holley 2300 flange.

    Brennan's Garage llc has new motor craft carburetors ( reproduction )
    He also has adaptors for the 2G to the 2100 / 2150 that are good quality
    the adaptors also fit the 258 with the 2 barrel carb.

    Good because I just bought a 258. Thanks for the heads up. I went to another project and never got to this one. (46 CJ2a) but it's back on planning stage.
