Here is an original Kaiser Jeep brochure on the CJ-5. It may be from 1961 judging by the form number. It lists only the Hurricane engine and 4.27:1 axles. It has a few folds so I had to scan it in sections.

Also there is a brochure for the CJ-3B. Perhaps from 1959? It's marked Willys Motors, Inc. Interesting that it lists the Hurricane as 72HP vs the 75 listed on the CJ-5.

Finally an advertisement for an accessory sweeper broom. They were rotary brooms powered by a front PTO. I know a city around here used them for decades to clear snow from sidewalks, powered by the CJ-3B.

Very cool! My guess for the CJ5 year would be '63 model year, based on the Spruce Tip Green color and the 4.27 axles. Thanks for posting them. :)

The CJ5 brochure also has the Wagoneer so that would be 1963 or newer.

Good catch! Since it says Kaiser and doesn't show the old style wagon or pickup I imagine it's actually '64 or newer.

Actually, they still made a few of the old Wagons up into 1964. They had a two year overlap producing the old new wagons. The "new" wagons began producion in '62.
Those brochures are all dated on the front page. The CJ5 on is from 6/61.
I have 8-10, maybe more, original brochures. Theres a ton of info from sometimes a very narrow window of production time in some of these.

Made in '62 as '63 model year, correct? I was thinking mainly about the Kaiser wording on the one brochure indicating '64. Who knows for sure though, I looked at a '64 CJ5 that had both Kaiser and Willys on the i.d. tag.

Here's another version of the CJ-3B brochure. It's marked "59-08 R1" instead of "59-08". To me this would signify first revision of the August 1959 brochure. It shows an expanded vehicle lineup and has minor differences in the spec sheet.

If the CJ5 brochure refers to the upcoming model year that helps narrow down when the T90c came along.

The foil tag with " Willys, produced by Kaiser Jeep Corporation" was still used up to at least 1966 as my '66 CJ5 has the sticker, as does my '64 Tux. The Willys is on the black top of the tag, even though it was several years after Kaiser took over.
The brochures usually were printed announcing the newest and latest features and changes that were going into production. I'm sure there were many existing parts "used up" on the assembly line before the latest parts were put into production, so not all Jeeps produced after the date of the brochure had all the features advertised. An interesting example is The Tuxedo Park MKlV model got the "new revised" tub without the cowl lid and mirror boss in the '64 model year, where there were maybe 6 months or more that the regular CJ5 still had the earlier tub, presumably until stock ran out before all used the revised tub.
