speedometer cable

    As dumb as it sounds, I can't figure out how to disconnect the speedometer cable from the back of the guage in my 70 DJ5-A. I have the service manual but it doesn't give details on this. I'm also a little wary of gettin rough with it since the end piece is plastic (it's probably original and definitely has decades of gunk holding it together)

    never mind...problem solved...and yes, I'm an idiot

    that's one more think I've learned to day, lol
