I need some help with a conversion pilot bushing. I ordered one from herm and it fits the T-90 main drive shaft fine but seems to be too large for the crank on my '75 231 Oddfire. It measures 1.08" on the OD. I called Novak and their bushing had the same dimensions.

Any ideas/thoughts would be appreciated. The prongs on my caliper are too short to get a good measurement on the ID of the pilot bushing recess in the end of the crank.

We just replaced ours in our 70 CJ V6 oddfire and found one at our friendly Chevrolet dealership. Ours has a T14A and Im not sure about the T90 but they may be the same. You can get any GM dealership to order you one. Part number GM 10040408.

    * We need a place to store correct working part numbers on this site. :)

Thanks, Guys. I picked up an engine lift plate today. I'm going to get the motor on the hoist and off the stand to see if I can get a better look at it this evening.
