Running a full length Dana 44 wagoneer axle

    Can this be done, does it require moving leaf spring mounts outside the frame rails?? This is a considerablly wider axles, I am thinking there has got to be a lot I don't know about doing this.

    The rear is easy, weld on the perches where the springs will mount. For the front you will need to outboard the springs, redo the shock mounts, and other little things. I am almost doen with mine.

    If you don't want to go that wide use Scout axles, the big problem is rotating the knuckles to gain some caster for steering in the front.

    Scout 2 axles and Wagoneer axles are very close to the same overall width in front. :( Still have to outboard the springs in front. The rest, what Dan said. Nickmil.
