    Next question...

The "ball" on the ends of the axle housing where the knuckle rides has to be cleaned and sanded lightly before installing the knuckle seals. I gave them a good cleaning and a light sanding, but they still seam rough to me.

How agressive do I need to be with the sand paper?

    TIA

Them main thing is to make sure that you sand off any edges that could cut your seals. Mine were really ruff right around the 5 degrees of strait ahead both ways. I just made sure I couldnt feel any sharp edges when I got done I I dont have any leaks yet.

To be truthfully honest you could use a small air powered 90* die grinder and a set of sanding pads. This is what I'm talking about:[IMG]
What do you know there on sale for $20 at harbor freight right now.

Dennis one side of mine would make the moon look smooth. I sanded until I got tired then realized that the reason the knuckles were full of grease instead of oil was probably related to this and there were no leaks. cleaned it up, filled back up with greeze, new seals and there still are no leaks ;)
