Just curious...I've been driving the Jeep to work more lately, and I've noticed a few "Habits" as the Jeep slowly wakes (warms) up. Most notable is a few minor noises for the first couple of miles while everything warms up. Also, my speedo reads about 10mph too fast for the first 3~4 miles.

Anyone else have weird sleepy Jeep things like this?

The speedo problem sounds like grease in the cable sleeve, maybe grease/gunk packed in the speedo gear housing, or even in the cluster. Clean all of these, lube the cable and cluster works with a graphite or moly dry lube. Tcase gear oil should lube the speedo gear.

Otherwise, mine wakes up rather slowly too... :D

You know I gotta try this on my Exploder. I have the same problem, and its usually much worse when it gets really cold out... which would make sense...
