I recently picked up a 67 CJ5 V6 with 40K original miles in good shape for quite a steel (even came with a complete 66 parts jeep). I'm currently in the process of prepping the body for paint and generally restoring it. My questions is did Kaiser ever build a CJ5 V6 commando? I believe my jeep to be all original as I know the original owner. The jeep has a commando emblem on both sides of the hood, it looks fairly authentic however I can't find any literature to support this and I'm not sure if I should leave the emblems on or off after the paint job.

Not to my knowledge, and it doesn't make sense considering the Commando was a seperate model. I'm betting someone just liked the emblems.
