Does anyone know where to find one of these, it is the breather tube that goes from the driver side valve cover to the air cleaner on a v6 paper element type, this one is split very bad and cracking. If I can't find one of these does anyone know where to get a grommet and breather to go in the valve cover.

I would think that a quick trip thru parts house would turn up a grommet, and a Mr Gasket breather. It will be a standrd issue Chrome plated jobie. Since this is plain ol' GM valve covers, the hole is a normal size

well....the hole on mine was larger and Mr Bling would drop right thru
I welded and ground down a large washer with the correct ID over the larger hole in the valve cover; then Mr Bling fit right in!

Yep, went to the locl FLAPS and every grommet he had was way to small, Autozone and Advance are even less help. I guess I will search the net now for something.

NAPA autoparts should have what you need. also, (i hate sayn' this but Kragen has lots of grommets thats where i found one for my buick V6) then i just got a plastic elbow and a small hose to goto the air cleaner..
P.S. the grommet box should say its for a GM. take you'r old one with you to match>>

    Thanks for the pics!

I suppose we'd have to plug off the hole in the stock breater where the hose attaches... But that shouldn't be a big deal - little electrical tape and you'd never know it was there.

    Thanks again guys!
