Anyone have a friend at the Jeep Parts counter?

Just took my 'new' OEM rims to the sandblaster, and discovered a tattered old AMC sticker on the inside of one of them. It had an AMC/Jeep part number of 5358808 on it. My local '5-star' Jeep dealer displayed their usual helpful attitude when I asked them to see if it still existed. "AMC part number? We ain't got no way of lookin dat up!"

Can someone ask the next time they go by the dealer to see if this part number is still available, and the cost new?

I'd gladly pay you in  at Tellico.... ;)

Thanks Jim, You da man! :virtual beer:

I guess it was asking too much for an 18-year-old Jeep part to still be in the factory parts system!
