    Nice job indeed Chuck!

Now I'm just thinking out loud, but wouldn't it be a good idear to put some flanges (either 2- or 3-bolt) on the output ends so that you don't have to clamp or weld the exhaust onto your perdy new headers? That way if the pipes get damged you just unbolt them and fab new ones. Once you crunch a muffler clamp onto a tube, it's toast in terms of ever getting another pipe to seal on it.

Mebbe if you really wanted to get kinky you could weld some ball-ends and floating flanges onto the headers, similar to the ones the Buick 350's used on their crossover pipes in the '70s. No gaskets, and they tolerate twists and torque quite well. The mating pipes simply need to be flared a bit and the flanges clamp down on them to make evrything seal, even under twisting loads...

AAAHH another person going to use them flexible exhaust pipes :) I like the idea of just clamping onto the headers. the flange seems to leak more than the clamped area.

Very creative on the headers. This is what I like to hear about, someone making a part that the aftermarket has yet to perfect. GREAT JOB, keep us informed on the progress.
