I will be fabricating a bracket for my tach, but that's a ways out for me.

I didn't want to drill any new holes in my dash so I just used one of the existing ones to the left of the steering column. I'll try to take a pic later and add it.

Use a two piece shaft collar sized for the column. Drill and tap the face of the collar and bolt on the remainder of the existing mount.

I would just get a new tach. They are not all that costly to begin with.

That depends on the Tach. I have a 6000rpm Dixco to put in my Willys when I get that far. I have seen them sell for upwards of $300 on the HAMB forum. Classic Tachs can be very collectable.

A vintage Sun Super Tach can run 50 to 200.00 on ebay depending on condition and vintage.

I might have one I can throw in a flat rate box if you'd want it. I'll check tomorrow.

If you don't find a better way, this is yours if you want it. Just the mount, or the whole tach too. I don't think the tach works, but it could have been wired incorrectly. It maxed out at 1500 rpm when it was on MM.

I appreciate the offer, but I think I'm going to go with an AutoMeter similar to the one pictured above.
Better tach with a much more robust mount.
