I'm bolting my D18 twin stick transfer case to my new SM465 using the novak 1 inch adapter. It looks like the shift tower on the D18 will hit the side of the trans by a bit. I'll probably just end up hitting it with a grinder, but I wanted to check if this was a common thing? I haven't seen it mentioned before in anything I've read about it, so I thought I'd ask.

Yup. I actually had to grind quite a bit off mine. I also had to drill and tap the set screw in the other part of the stick mount for the pivot pin, due to not having enough room to access the screw.

I actually had to grind quite a bit off to make it work, and it's still a tight fit. I'll definately be drilling and tapping a new hole for the set screw. Thanks for the help.
