Go to a military surplus outlet and usually they will have a tons of heavy canvas straps with buckles. That's were I got mine and it works great!

Beachwood canvas is probably your best bet.

What exactly are you looking for. I have some that are stock type for 76-86 Cj. They are sewn such that you have to have a removeable footman loop to install them. If the footman loop is welded on (like mine is) you can't install them. I also have JUST the buckle, you could use 1" width webbing from the hardware store, about any color you wish, and sew it in place. I guess you could sew it by hand with a large needle and a thimble to push it thru????

Buckle is a $1.00, cause I beadblasted them and epoxy primed. Whole strap, faded od green and od green buckle, same buck, either plus shipping. Either one could probably go in an envelope wrapped with tape and a couple stamps.
