Welp, my 'new' late-model CJ disc brake rims arrived.

AND THEY FREAKIN' FIT! WooHoo!!!!

Today I am a happy boy indeed. I never thought I'd be so happy to have another 5 pieces of cruddy, rusted and generally all-around disgusting Jeep parts that need to be stripped, primed and painted, but I'm ecstatic.

For those just joining us, I have been searching for quite some time to find a set of 'stock-looking' steel wheels that will fit a Dana 25 that has had a GM disc brake conversion. The wheels that will fit and look 'stock' are from a '77 through '86 Jeep CJ-5 or CJ-7 with disc brakes. The clearance to the calipers is quite tight, but they do clear. I might actually go searching for a set of 60-ish dog-dish hubcaps to finish them off.

   are on me today my brothas!

Actually, I was thinking of the little baby-moon-type hubcaps that had the Jeep logo in the center. That way the rest of the nice, white rim shows. :)

Do your wheels have the right "tabs" to hold the hubcaps? I had bought a bunch of the baby moons, but they didn't work on the $tockon Wheels that I have.

Looking for a place to blast my 'new' wheels now. The old retired guy who did my MG wheels 10+ years ago died, and they put a parking lot where his house & shop used to be. :(

I think I have the same wheels you are talking about. I bought a set of the early baby moon caps and they are to big. I THINK the later baby moon caps might work though. IIRC the early ones were orange/gold and had JEEP all caps, later ones AMC red/blue and Jeep, not all caps. I have thought of getting the later ones and just repainting them, only someone from this site would notice!!

Are your rims 15x5.5? If you have the same ones I do, they are commonly used as the spare tire rim 76-86. Not as common to see them on the axles but there were some sold that way, more common to see the white spokers.

Yup. 15x5.5, all with the smooth flange around the lug nuts and the deeper inset for discs. One of the five is a little different and has perfectly round raised areas in between the lugs, almost like they were set up for another set of lug nut holes in between the ones that are there.

The important thing is that they all fit. And I was able to get them scrubbed down on night shift last night. ;)
