2gc carb on 304

    does anybody know if a 2gc carb from a 231 would fit on a stock 304 2bbl intake?

    The 304 uses a Holley pattern carb (the Autolite/Motorcraft). The 2GC is a Rochester. Not the same. You could probably buy an adapter.

    that is what i was thinking...a motorcraft but i wasn't sure....thanks for the info
