CJ7 windshield washer location?

    My son's '83 CJ7 did not pass safety inspection due to the lack of windshield washers, not to mention a couple issues with the front suspension. Have a fiberglass tub and the washers were never installed. I now have an original windshield washer nozzle and need to know the original location of the nozzle. The steel hood does not have a mounting hole, so I guess it would have been mounted on the cowl near the cowl vent. Any input would be appreciated such as a measurement from a specific point on the body.

    On my 1980 the nozzle is located behind the cowl vent in the middle. if you measure out from the windshield area towards the cowl vent its 2 3/8" to the middle of the nozzle. the nozzle almost touchs the edge of the cowl vent. BOB
